Yes, it was a pretty crazy time. Well, every week was pretty chaotic, with a new group of kids coming
starting of at a variety of levels. But the last week of camp was a time for the staff to start clean-up.
We had one weekend to set up the Ida Sproul Room of UC Berkeley's International House into a
smooth running computer camp. (okay, smooth may be a stretch, let's use the word functional) Now, while we still
had classes to teach and kids to watch, we had to modify our camp schedule and routine to that of a few computers left.
You see, we end up selling all the gateways and imacs (bad Mac Bad) to the parents and I-House employees. Along with that comes the stipulation
that we return the machines back to their boxes in the same condition that we first started using them, more or less.
So on Friday, August 13, (doesn't that sound threatening already?) we had to pack up the rest of the computers and pack up camp.
We finished at about 9:15. And then we said good-bye. I don't know if we'll ever see each other again (and after some of the little remarks I made, I don't know
if some staff ever want to see me again) but at least we have all these lovely pics on the page.
